Emanuel Salas and David DeLoera finished first and second for Sanger High of California at the Central Section Division 2 boys final to lead the Apaches to a 33-34 victory over San Luis Obispo at Woodward Park in Fresno. Salas covered the 5-kilometer course in 15:31.95 and DeLoera ran 15:42.37 for Sanger, which placed five scorers in the top 13 overall.
