Daniel Galvez, a junior at Sanger High in California, placed second in the boys varsity 5-kilometer race at the 49th Douglas P. Rudolf Cross Country Invitational in 15:49.51 at Mooney Grove Park in Visalia. Sanger took the top two spots and placed second overall with 69 points.
